You ever see Freddie Cole here in New York? Sounds just like his brother. Didn't know Steve Lacy and Don Cherry made a record, but thats what I love about jazz--everybody plays together at some point. In rock 'n' roll, if you get a bunch of stars together its always for some big superstar event or corny benefit. But in jazz and hip-hop (and even country), all the best seek each other out and play together.
