POEM WRITTEN WHILE LISTENING TO SIX DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF "PLEASE PLEASE ME"
I've held my breath for years
Along with a poisonous tongue.
I don't look good in blue and
Have trouble with browns and greens.
There is a place where this adds up
But we burned the map ages ago.
It's only going to get worse
Is the best news I've heard all day.
I'll drink to the fact that
Fear has left us high and dry.
The clouds should know me by now
And so should you.
Along with a poisonous tongue.
I don't look good in blue and
Have trouble with browns and greens.
There is a place where this adds up
But we burned the map ages ago.
It's only going to get worse
Is the best news I've heard all day.
I'll drink to the fact that
Fear has left us high and dry.
The clouds should know me by now
And so should you.

I love this;
It's only going to get worse
Is the best news I've heard all day.
