Slipshod Sonnet #15

Another day of doom the kind you'd like
to beat with an open hand these are the
legends of car service and we're still a
little on the bereft side for not getting
nine lives to waste yet I don't care for
holding hands with smokers and going
along with one more bad idea before it
was a bakery it was a different bakery
I've learned more from watching scars
than eavesdropping on the 8:40 recalling
your buttoned-down soul and bandaged
bones so beautiful together don't be sad
hoping you can do eternity standing on
your head maybe and what choice is there?
