Owen Hart is in Alberta, for example.

And while we're browsing, who knew Santiago, Chile, would create a "Pet Sematary"?!

Andre the Giant was cremated, and his ashes were spread over his ranch in Ellerbe, North Carolina.

Hulk Hogan, although embalmed, has ye to be buried anywhere.

Shawn Michaels' real name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, so he may have already died of shame...

And why would a guy who is actually born with the name "Richard Blood" change it to the very disney-esque "Ricky Steamboat"?

John Minton aka Big John Studd died in Burke, Virginia. He died of liver cancer, but his signature move was the heart punch.

Sylvester Ritter, aka Junk Yard Dog, fell asleep at the wheel and died in Forest, Mississippi. Apparently Chef on SouthPark is loosely based on him.

Johnny Valentine was cremated and his wife keeps the urn in their bedroom, according to Obsessed with Wrestling website.

So maybe the one you're looking for isn't buried?

Wowweee wow! Great comments!

Pearl: Are you a closet wrestling fan? Love the "distant disappearing gong."

Steakbellie: No different; immortal only in our minds....

MsAPhillips: Nice to know so much has been archived about these people. Sadly, as it goes in the ring, so it goes on the other side of the veil. The few get the glory - the rest seem to vanish without a trace like Keyser Söze.

I had heard about Andre the Giant, am aware of the Hulkster's current situation, and agree wholeheartedly on the subject of Shawn Michaels and Ricky Steamboat. (Seriously: no one thought Richard Blood was a great wrestling name? Similarly, Roderick Toombs becomes Rowdy Roddy Piper?)

Alas, I fear my missing wrestler might have been cremated, or buried back in his country of origin.
